Director of the “Centro Nacional de Microelectronica”-CNM-National Center of Microelectronics of the “Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas” (Spanish High Council of Scientist Research) - CSIC- Madrid and Barcelona, from the year of its creation, 1985, to 1987. He was the first Director of this Center and responsible for its launching at national scale and for puting it into operation.
The direction included, during these first years, all the 3 premises of the CNM, at the time premises of: Madrid-CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas), Madrid-ETSIT (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación) and Barcelona UAB(Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona)
The financing organisms for the CNM where: CSIC, Ministry of Industry & Ministry of Education and Science.
The CNM was extended to Seville (Universidad de Sevilla) and nowadays has four premises: two in Madrid, one in Barcelona and one in Seville, each one of them working in different fields of microelectronics research and development.

Responsible at Spanish level, from January 1989 to December 1990, of the activities of the group “Transnational Linking of SME and Technology Transfer” SPRINT Project C301 (European Community Strategic Programme for INnovation and Technology Transfer).

Since 1993/July, was included in the experts list aproved by the“Directorate General XIII-Telecommunications, Information Market and Explotation of Research-Commission of the European Communities”- for the "Science Park Consultancy Scheme" in the frame of SPRINT (European Community Strategic Programme for Innovation and Technology Transfer).
